Engaged to design a database for an interactive digital world that serve as a centralized location for internal + external users to view curate and create net new content. Easy enough.

​The experience needed to be designed to arm users with an arsenal of tools and content from business units, internal customers, and external customers. The "connecting" phase served as the pathway to define business + design reqs; constructing a low fidelity minimal viable product. Recognizing we had a robust repository of curated content at our fingertips, we architected the platform to connect story, seemingly disjointed content, and the user experience through interactive visualization.

So, we threw in 900lbs of creativity + imagination, and dreamed up a world beyond PowerPoint. A world where users can view + interact with content; including text, media, brand standards, animation, + existing interactive content. Leveraging the asset repository to create a highly interactive + customized narrative that accelerates how users align core business objectives with the infinite needs of the audience. It is here that we began to create an experience… + not simply a deck of static information.

As a result, the puzzle pieces provided a diverse range of functionality, content curation, user interface, user experience wireframes, style guides, concept art, research, concept development, design thinking, design renderings, technology use cases + specs, + neurodesign functionality. Supporting the need to limit repurchasing existing content, mitigating rework of existing solutions, and streamlining the time required to access content.

TechConnect is a digital ecosystem that allows users to engage textual, media, interactive, immersive, stylized, and visual content to drive the user experience. With the comprehensive design model, which includes our design chemistry sessions, mix-methods data capture tools, and our iterative design process, TechConnect is evolving into a practical and dynamic tool that Shell will be able to utilize throughout the value chain. The program utilized our proprietary scientific design method and process to dream up a new way to visualize robustly curated content.
